Miss Maree is the Principal of Dancing with Maree and is passionate about encouraging and guiding each student towards becoming the best dancer they can be.

Miss Maree is committed to providing a friendly and safe environment where students can have fun with their teachers who are experienced and willing to offer a wealth of knowledge about the dance industry. Miss Maree has been dancing since the age of four and over the years has studied Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary and Hip Hop. She has competed in many eisteddfods around Sydney.

In 2000, Miss Maree was selected to perform in the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney Olympic Games. She then went on to complete Certificate IV in Dance Teaching at Australian Dance Vision and became an Accredited Assessor, providing her with the opportunity to travel interstate on several occasions to assess many students attending other dance schools. Miss Maree was offered the chance to travel to Tasmania to assist teachers in launching the adap Jazz Syllabus program within their schools.

In 2006, Miss Maree was awarded a full scholarship to attend the Australian College of Physical Education where she has now completed a Bachelor of Dance Education & PDHPE. Her latest achievement was when she was given the opportunity to travel to England to discover life in a boarding school and assist with helping students to reach their highest dance and sporting potential.



Jazz, Tap, Classical Ballet, Lyrical & Contemporary

Rebecca Player has been involved in stage and performance since the age of two, training in all aspects of performing arts with particular note in RAD ballet and LGTDA tap. Rebecca won many awards whilst studying dance which enabled her to perform in HSC callback – a recital showcasing the best HSC dance performances in the state. Rebecca was also awarded with the opportunity to study dance in New York and secure a place performing in The Elvis Show in New Caledonia for the opening of the Grand Casino.

Rebecca has completed her LGTDA Teachers Certificate for tap, ADV teachers’ certificate in Classical Ballet and her ADV probationary assessor’s course.

Rebecca has taught these syllabi for the past 9 years with many students achieving 100% in their exams.  Rebecca also adjudicates at eisteddfods, choreographs and teaches dance all over Australia. She continues to inspire young dancers every day.

Rebecca has been a freelance teacher for the past 9 years and prides herself on implementing a strong technique base with a passionate sense of artistry. Rebecca has a keen eye for detail and loves to see a neat and controlled routine.

Rebecca’s love of dance also extended into her studies where she completed a Masters of Chiropractic degree and is now a fully qualified chiropractor in Sydney. Rebecca believes her understanding of anatomy and the human body learnt from this degree has meant she brings a greater sense of knowledge and understanding to dance technique and injury prevention in dancers. Rebecca intends on dedicating her life to studying and educating young dancers.



Miss Kylie has been teaching Acro with the DWM Team for 4 amazing years and has loved the experience of working with dedicated and talented students as well as passionate staff.

Miss Kylie has been teaching Artistic Gymnastics for 26 years at various gymnastics clubs around Australia and is currently coaching a national level group of gymnasts who train 21 hrs/week at a club in the South west Region.

Miss Kylie loves seeing her students achieve their best and the smile on their faces when they do is indescribable. Miss Kylie possess the following qualifications:

Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical & Contemporary

From the age of 3, Tess has been involved in the performing arts sector. Over the years she has developed a love and passion for performing, choreographing and teaching dance. Tess has been teaching dance at a variety of dance schools in the Western Sydney region for the past six years, teaching all genres and age levels.

Tess completed a Bachelor of Arts/Science with a double major in Sociology and Government and International Relations in 2012 at Sydney University, and completed a Diploma in Performing Arts at ED5international, finishing in the top region of her class.

Tess is currently undertaking a Masters of Teaching (Primary) at Australian Catholic University. Tess joined the Dancing With Maree team in early 2016, and is looking forward to continuing to make a fun, energetic and engaging atmosphere for her students to reach their greatest potential.
